Description
The Baron and Dripfang meet a snake woman from the jungle kingdom of Spartanga who may become its next Queen.
Summary
After a week traveling through the Fiery Depths, The Baron and Dripfang emerge in Spartanga, a legendary jungle realm far distant from their native lands. They commiserate on the one-year anniversary of their defeat by Arnie, Chunt, & Usidore at the immolation of Hogsface.
They soon encounter the snake woman Foofina the princess of Spartanga. With her parents deceased Foofina is in line to take the throne, but cannot become Queen until she marries.
The Baron & Dripfang are impressed by her villainy and are soon competing for Foofina's hand in marriage. The Baron & Foofina have much in common as nobility, while she and Dripfang relate as snake-people. To demonstrate his seriousness the Baron makes a pinky-swear and cuts off his pinky. Unable to choose between them, Foofina proposes that she marry both Dripfang and the Baron. After some discussion they agree and depart to begin preparations, riding Foofina's snake maidens.
While traveling through the jungle they spot a cape store, and enter to buy their wedding attire. Inside shopping is Squibbert, who knows Foofina and is concerned. Of greater concern for her though is the state of Baron, who passes out from blood loss. Squibbert chastises Dripfang to be a better friend to the Baron.
