Description
Our villains meet the dread land pirate, Captain Rafe Shapely, after the wedding in the Spartanga Jungle goes awry…
Summary
The Baron & Dripfang are fleeing their wedding to Foofina, having realized the ceremony included their being devoured. With snake maidens in pursuit they jump aboard Andre. As they ride the zombie giant across the landscape, they are stopped and boarded by the land pirate, Captain Rafe Shapely.
He tries to plunder gold from the Baron & Dripfang but upon learning their disgrace has left them destitute, conversation soon turns his life as a land pirate. His failures outweigh his successes, resulting in many mutinies that have left him without a crew. Seeing an opportunity, Dripfang & the Baron offer him a crew of Orcs if he'll allow them to recruit him to the Dark Lord's cause, which he accepts.
After telling them of the allure of land sirens, the Baron & Dripfang drop off Captain Shapely at a village they encounter. In the same village the two step into an inn, only find Squibbert is there, performing songs for the patrons (most of whom are also land pirates). She informs them Hot Air Baboons can be chartered to take them in the direction of the Moon Palace.
