"Settlers of Catan" is the sixth episode of the Earth Games miniseries. It was originally released on September 19, 2019. This miniseries takes place sometime during season two of the main podcast.

Description

The hosts play one of the most beloved Earth Games of all, Settlers of Catan! The Magic Tavern gang take on the Robber with the assistance of Jak Vorpal. Who gets the sticker?!

Summary

Usidore selects Settlers of Catan as their next game, and has invited Jak Vorpal to join them. The players build their settlements, & Jak Voporal builds his on the lands of the Robber, so that he can control him. To clarify whether the Robber's name is Robert, Usidore grants life to the Robber card (he is named Robert). When Arnie suggests speeding up the game Usidore also gives Robert the Robber a gun. Resource trades escalate and players begin to play cards from other games.

When a seven is rolled, Jak Vorpal releases Robert the Robber on a rampage, who kills Usidore & Arnie. Chunt wishes to grant Robert life outside the game, which Robert says he desires as well. Once freed he tries to kill Usidore, but Jak tries to stay his hand. Also Usidore is nigh-indestructible. Regardless, Robert is returned to the game and Usidore grants Jak a boon: freedom from the curtain Jak has been caught up in since his arrival. Usidore happily sets the curtain aflame, and as it burns off Arnie announces that as winner of Catan, the badly burned Jak wins the scratch-&-sniff strawberry sticker that was the seasons prize.

Space bunker

Craig has just dropped off his cargo, which it turns out was some sort of contraband alien monster, and now he's a man without a purpose. The space cops aren't trailing him anymore and he's enjoyed his time as a space trucker, but what next? He promises to resolve his existential crisis in time for the outro.

With the series coming to an end, Craig worries that he won't even have the audience to talk to. However, when he realizes that there is a bonus episode of Earth Games and that Behind the Tavern will be coming soon he feels reassured that he has more time to figure out his purpose.
