Description

"Blemish, the creepy guy who works at the Vermilion Minotaur and brings us spiced potatoes is going to be our guest this week."

Summary

This episode, Arnie welcomes Otok Barleyfoot and his employee, Blemish. Chunt and Usidore ask Arnie if they can do an "Earth Stuff" episode in the future, and then welcome their guests. Blemish talks about his history with the tavern and his role in it. Otok is still upset about Arnie inciting Krom the Barbarian. Blemish seems bitter about being a servant, and makes several vague threats throughout the episode about gaining power and exacting his revenge. He also tells Usidore that he has heard rumors that "darkness awakes" and that Usidore is "enveloped by darkenss". Usidore gives Otok some news about his missing daughter, Activia Barleyfoot. Blemish then suggests that Arnie follow him into McShingleshane Forest where his eyes would be opened to the "deepest, darkest secrets". Blemish then expels a cat from his mouth, and swallows it back in again, saying there is a "rumor" that "he who speaks with cats will rise to the highest heights." Usidore's mishearing of Blemish's suggestion leads them to talk about the existence of bisectuals, people who are born bisected (Otok suggests that almost every family has at least one). They also talk of the legend of the Bisectual Dwarf.

Spants and Glenn Miller then do a performance of Seven Dragons and a Baby.

Blemish spits out another cat, which catches on fire. Usidore notes that a cat on fire is a sign of The Dark Lord, but then they notice that it's just walked by a candle. Arnie asks Blemish if he is evil, and Chunt devises a hypothetical question to find out. Otok mentions that his wife's memorial death tree has been destroyed (no one admits to him that they had encouraged D'athaniel Quen'yarvin to attack it). Blemish yells again to follow him into McShingleshane Forest and scurries away.
