Carfoon Arnie is a carfoon, a magical living drawing of Arnie Niekamp which he created to trick the forces of the Dark Lord, and save both the Earth and the citizens of Hogsface.

Arnie creates the carfoon in the lead-up to a Mittens exhibition game against the Dark Lord's forces. At the game's half-time Baron Ragoon announces his plan to recapture Arnie and the rest of Hogsface, since the recent destruction of the Void ended any need for the truce that Arnie, Chunt, & Usidore had entered into. The Baron believed he had succeeded in taking the whole town prisoner, but in fact during a break in the transmission Arnie, Chunt, Usidore, and the other inhabitants of Hogsface did escape, leaving carfoons, including Carfoon Arnie, in their place.

The Baron, along with Dripfang LeDesparé, force the carfoon to broadcast another episode of Hello From the Magic Tavern, intending to use the signal to destroy the Earth with the Penelope. Instead Carfoon Arnie, together with a Carfoon Chunt and Carfoon Usidore, revealed their ruse, prevented the Baron and Dripfang from using the Penelope, and destroyed the town of Hogsface with the Dark Lord's forces inside.

As the season ends, Usidore raises the possibility Arnie may have used magical forbidden paint to create some of the carfoons. The paint allows a carfoon, which usually only lives a few weeks, to exist indefinitely.

In the third season it is confirmed Arnie used the forbidden paint in creating both Carfoon Blemish & Carfoon Arnie, meaning the carfoon is potentially immortal.

Carfoon Arnie was at some point retrieved by Dark Lord forces, and is used by Baron Ragoon as a decoy when he kidnaps the real Arnie for the Dark Lord. Carfoon Arnie is happy to play along, as it allows him to fulfill his original purpose: to host the podcast while tricking his co-broadcasters with "switcheroos". However, after an episode of impersonating Arnie, Carfoon Arnie reveals himself, both out of frustration at keeping up the ruse and for the pleasure of another switcheroo against the Dark Lord.

Carfoon Arnie reveals real Arnie's whereabouts and joins in on the rescue mission to save him from the Black Spire Volcano. However, he is separated from the party and does not leave the island volcano with them.
