Chad is a guard who works in a nearby dungeon and specializes in torture. His specialty is red-hot pokers, but he's also trained other techniques such as finger-nail tearing and eye-removal.
As a child, Chad dreamed of living to adulthood, and perhaps even being a farmer. One day he was investigating a local dungeon, and was captured and tortured by the guards for snooping. They tortured him, removing several vertebra without severing his spine, and Chad was so impressed with their skill he became a torturer himself.
He was mentored by another torturer named Grandel, but generally torturers are not friendly with one another, and Chad claims to have no close friends. He is very moved when Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore propose a toast to him, but eventually grows angry when they over-do it.
Chad is played by David Pasquesi.
