DeMonte is a talking crossbow currently being wielded by Jyn'Leeviyah the Red who found him in the Caves of Jamajo. He was once a man.
As a human, DeMonte was working for the Dark Lord and was turned into a crossbow when he wouldn't murder children as part of his job (DeMonto blames his own laziness more than any ethical objection). He was given to a General in the Dark Lord's employ named Catho, but was stolen by a hero and hidden in the Caves of Jamajo in the far north, where Jyn'Leeviyah found and released him. He will change back to a man once the Dark Lord is destroyed.
He uses a variety of arrows, including fire and ice arrows.
From his time in the Dark Lords Army DeMonte had a strong understanding of military leadership and strategy, and became General in charge of the Velsmeerian Army, taking over for Arnie, Chunt, & Usidore.
While he leads the army competently for sometime, he later runs off with a prostitute named Mrs. Glotz, leaving Jyn'Leeviyah to manage the forces herself.1
DeMonte is played by Colton Dunn.
