Description
Usidore and Chunt fall in love (literally) with breakfast cereals Arnie has sourced from Earth.
Summary
"Hello from the Magic Tavern. (trill) Patreon Edition (party horn whistle)" - Arnie Niekamp
With the new formatting to the podcast, Arnie hypes the new episodes and the different vibe they can have from the main feed. However Chunt and Usidore maintain their same energy levels that they carry over from the main podcast. As much as Arnie is excited for the Patreon, he finds it somewhat difficult to explain the benefits for them to be apart of it. He highlights the support from all those apart of it, including physicals support couch surfing on Earth since they have everyone's person information, like Kyle's.
As a special treat for both the patrons and his other hosts, Arnie shows off a box of Earth Breakfast Foods sent over via transdimensional delivery. Inside is a variety of Earth Cereals. Arnie asks Usidore to conjure some bowls and spoons to eat the cereal with and usidore grabs some milk for them from the ghost cow bartender at the ParaSocial, the bar that they are recording in. Arnie then realizes that it would be difficult to record since there would be listeners that would be adverse to hearing people just eating, so Usidore also casts a spell to change the sound of the crunching.
The group reviews the following cereals:
- Honey Nut Cheerios - Mascot: [Buzz] Bee - Chunt finds the mascot very sexy, although he finds it odd that Earth Children are eating these "buttholes". Arnie also explains Earth flavors, specifically the ones enhanced by scientists. after trying a bowl, Chunt wants to keep the box, but Usidore reminds him that this is only the first of many.
- Froot Loops - Mascot: Toucan Sam - Chunt is immediately taken by the colorful bird. He is and Usidore take turns naming the bird, but Arnie actually knows the name of this mascot. They discuss why it is called "Froot Loops" instead of "Chemical Loops", "Root Loops", or "Color Loops". Chunt and Usidore find it very sweet and addicting, causing three of Chunt's teeth to fall out, only to be eaten again by Chunt.
- Lucky Charms - Mascot: Lucky the Leprechaun - Arnie reminisces on his childhood cereal. Chunt and Usidore cannot believe they let kids have marshmallows for breakfast. Although Lucky is the mascot, Chunt is drawn to the Unicorn, a guest character advertising the unicorn marshmallows, which begs the question what marshmallows are made out of. Arnie then precedes to explain Lucky's role in the commercials, especially the one where the cave children say "Ooga-Lega-Weegga-Cheega" The group loves the marshmallows, but hates the shit that comes with it.
- Raisin Bran Cereal - Mascot: Anthony Richard Raisinblast - Chunt immediately finds the Sun sexy, but they immediately skip it when they find out there are raisins in the cereal.
- Trix - Mascot: Trix Rabbit - It is another cereal that Chunt is attracted too. Arnie explains the Rabbit's craving for Trix and they resolve these cereals are probably a demon, or at least sent by an enemy.
- Life - Mascot: None - Usidore pulls out the next one and states it is the adult cereal. Arnie then had to explain how advertisments work on Earth when the other two could not find the raspberries pictured on the box. Usidore then conjures them to their bowls. The cereal is not very good as it disintegrates.
- Frosted Flakes - Mascot: Tony the Tiger - Although Chunt likes the tiger, he and Usidore still pick apart Tony's appearance. Once again, there are no fruits ion the actual cereal like it was advertisesd.
- Cap'n Crunch - Mascot: Cap'n Crunch - Arnie tries to explain the catchprhase "Crunchatize Me Cap'n" as a phrase "the teens" are proned to say. They try the cereal, and it is the worst so far.
- Count Chocula - Mascot: Count Chocula - Arnie shows off the appeal of having a cereal with both marshmallows and chocolate. The conversation turns when Usidore and Chunt try to decipher what the vampire sucks. At the end of the review, they do like it better than the Lucky Charms.
- Grape-Nuts - Mascot: None - It's like dried bear scat.
- Honey Smacks - Mascot: Dig'em Frog - Chunt makes an easy joke about already having Honey Smacks. Unfortunately, the cereal is only good within it's first bite.
- Kix - Mascot: none - Chunt kicks the box literally. While trying to find the mascot, they find the characters from Paw Patrol.
- Cocoa Pebbles - Mascot: The Flintstone Characters - Arnie not only has to explain the cereal, but explain the cartoon as well. Chunt and Usidore also take umbridge with the naming convention of the cereal.
The group is stuffed after trying all the cereal. Arnie forgets to mention that if they are not kids eating the cereal, they should have taken drugs before eating. Chunt and Usidore burst his bubble, saying they took morglorb beforehand, explaining their more erratic behaviors. They end the episode by repeating "Freebles Peebles" and "Ooga-Lega-Weegga-Cheega".
