"Fooniverse - Transdimensional Deliveryman Returns" is a Patreon bonus episode of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on April 21, 2022.
Description
Don the Transdimensional Deliveryman is back. He may have received a promotion somehow.
Summary
The gang goes back to workshopping the Patreon intro. The group then goes back to “Hey Motherfuckers” and will probably roll with it for another 300 to 400 episodes.
Arnie offers to get Chunt and Usidore drinks from the bar. When he leaves, Usidore expresses some concern for him. They don’t have a guest, Arnie didn’t mention that they have seilppus.seippup|nrevatcigam#sliame, nor said it was a Boys Night. When he comes back, Arnie correctly gets the drinks, but mentions he would need help bringing the drinks back to the table. Chunt points out that the drinks are in his hands. He wonders where Arnie’s drink was. Arnie said that he drank it already and it was not a red potion that the new bartender, Scrimin, would not know not to give him.
In a rare instance, Arnie’s phone pings an alert. His signal has been spotty since he came to Foon. The message says that Arnie has a Transdimensional Delivery but has no recollection of ordering anything (an implication of if he could order things from other dimensions is not further explored). A bucket appears out of nowhere and hits Chunt. He pulls on the “fur” inside the bucket and takes out Don, the Transdimensional Deliveryman that they met over six years ago. Don is happy to see them as he had not seen them since the wedding. He has a package to drop off for Arnie, which Usidore encourages him to just drop off and leave.
The atmosphere is tense with him and Usidore as their loud personalities clash. Instead of giving Arnie the package immediately, Don describes the trails and dimensions that he has been to on his journey. Don must take time to adjust to any and all new dimensions, from the language to the social etiquette. There are times where his entry does not work as planned, such as when he delivered a package to Jeffy the Bear on the SS Stephanie and landed in the water rather than the boat. He is not only responsible for himself, but he was put in charge of other delivery people. One of his recent journeys involved him rescuing a lot of student witches from a werewolf-managed school, where the staff was extracting the witches’ dreams for energy for the planet. The result was the planet’s destruction, the loss of revenue for the transdimensional delivery operations and Don being reprimanded. In between deliveries, he had been with widows and killed the great white shark with the huge titties that he loved.
Don shares his past. He grew up where Lincoln was born, had otters for local wildlife, went to school with 900 kids. He describes Judas, his favorite rapper from his dimension. He travels through the dimension via a truck, where he can keep personal effects, and a tube elevator, both guiding the truck to each destination and his own person to get to the specific location. Although he mentions arms grabbing him through the tube, Arnie is more interested in the truck.
Most of the conversation is disjointed as Don goes from topic to topic. Exasperated, Usidore demands that Don deliver his package to “Arnie Kneecap”, which Don casually does and spoils that it is MeUndies before going back to describing Judas. As the night gets later and later, Chunt suggests some rapid-fire questions before Don leaves. They ask about 17 out of the 21 (originally 36) questions, ending with 21 of Don’s favorite sounds. Once he completed his list, they thank him and shove him back into the bucket. Don painfully leaves and Chunt mentions that he forgot to press record.
Space Bunker Plot
Craig complains that a transdimensional delivery truck is blocking the way of they space Chevy Colorado. After seeing the transmission, it makes sense. After the episode, he sympathizes with Don about the mysterious hands grabbing inside the interdimensional tubes. PV3 takes various guesses on what the hands could be.
