Frizznap Tingle was a student of the Jizzlenob Preparatory School for Young Wizards, and is known by many as "The Boy Who Died". A statue of him can be found on the school grounds.

Tingle was the subject of a prophecy: "Frizznap Tingle will grow up to defeat the Dark Lord". According to Can the Yellow, he was killed while adventuring in the secret compartment deep beneath Jizzlenob. He went down to the compartment to ask the serpent with a giraffe's face a question, but unfortunately caught a terrible cold and died of pneumonia. Others stories have him dying of massive head trauma.
