Kobolds

Kobolds are a crafty race of sentient vermin native to Foon.

Kobolds have long served The Great Dragon Tyrant, who bestows each kobold with their names. This ended when The Dark Lord killed the Dragon Tyrant in front of the assembled Kobolds, including the younglings.

Absent their tyrant's guidance, the took up the task of selling off the dragon's horde.

The kobolds eventually accept a truce with the Dark Lord, forgiving him for the murder of their dragon god in exchange for use of his werehouses for storage of their treasures.

Kobolds are somewhat reptilian, and have a cloaca like chickens do (but unlike chickens, it is pronounced with a short a).
