“Gargoyle Girl” is the thirteenth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on June 12, 2017.
Description
We meet a female gargoyle and get yelled at more by Daphne.
Summary
Chunt wears many hats, but he wishes for a Best Friend hat. Arnie can't help him out there, but he made matching overalls they can both wear. Both are Arnie-sized. Usidore gives them both berets reading "Casual Acquaintance." Chunt gives Arnie and Usi Guard Rock Cafe t-shirts. Blue for Usi, pink for Arnie. Arnie doesn't care for it, so Chunt promises him a shirt from the Rainforest Cafe.
Arnie quizzes Usidore on the restoration of his powers. Usi still drinks the potion sometimes, but he's mostly back to normal.
Arnie introduces Hergle the Gargoyle with typical clumsy and problematic language, which the lads call him out on. Hergle has come to Hogsface in search of a job. She's good at sitting on walls and throwing up. Chunt announces that Chu Chu's Chow has been demolished and replaced by a garden of olives and suggests Hergle might find work there. Usidore suggests Daphne the Unwed Mother/Tavern Wench might know of a job, but Arnie really doesn't want to talk to her again. Too late! Daphne comes to the table, touches Arnie's face, and trudges off. Cold hands, very creepy.
Hergle continues outlining her skills, which include amateur comedic taxidermy. She offers to do a diorama of Chunt in his final throes, however he predicts that may be. Chunt assumes he'll be killed by Cockroach Clown. Arnie thinks the final episode will be Cockroach Clown killing them all.
Arnie invites Hergle to join the BOOK CLUB (wink!), and she's excited as she loves all book genres. Especially romance, which is difficult for a gargoyle. Not cuddly. When asked to define her dream gar-mate, she stumbles a bit. She reveals that she has tried to stop dreaming as she has vivid nightmares. Usidore casts a spell to give her good dreams. She tries it out with a daydream about stuffing a giraffe. Hergle is so delighted with their problem-solving abilities, she asks the lads to fix her foot. This is easily accomplished by Usidore with a healing rock.
Hergle notes that if she sees the lads while she is on the clock, she will not acknowledge them, even if they try to make her laugh. Usidore doubts they could make her laugh anyway. But they try. Chunt tells a joke about Cockroach Clown, Usidore casts an eye embiggening spell, and Arnie does a third thing.
Emails
Rusty writes with a plan for Arnie to defeat the BOOK CLUB involving time travel and molestation. The lads are not fans of the plan and tell Rusty where to go and what to do to himself on the way.
Bangin' Buds
Arnie happens upon Usidore giving Chunt a backrub. Nice.
Usidore Cooks
Usi sensually explains how to make raspberry cream scones, feed them to a bird, wait for them to be bird-recycled, and make those raspberries into a pie.
