"Fangy Yelly" is the fifty-fourth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on April 9, 2018.
Description
It’s the Annual Gathering of the Fi’ang Yaloks which means the Memory Gremlin is back.
Summary
Arnie introduces Chunt, who is trying out some new follow up catchphrases (today’s is “Kaplow!”). He has decided that “Blood Farts” doesn’t work. Maybe “Puke Fart”? He doesn’t want to explain catchphrases. He tries out “Come and get a biscuit!” which earns a sideways thumb from Arnie at first, who then decides it’s a thumbs up when Chunt calls him out on his apathy.
Usidore wants a catchphrase too! How about “Thunder Butt!”? Arnie doesn’t want to try one out. Chunt asks if anyone has seen Mayor Manana, who has been sad that they made Mr. Orange the mayor for a week. They decide to let Mayor Manana be the mayor all the time, but in actuality, they will really be the ones in power.
Chunt announces that he’s “going back to school”, which apparently means that he’s back to dating. They are really getting along well, and they have a common interest of working on catchphrases together. They try to guess who it is, but are unable to. Chunt points out that, while it is not his significant other, there is a horse standing near the table. Usidore says that he will slay it if it is evil. Arnie asks how to tell if a horse is evil, and Usidore demonstrates by turning himself into a horse, making them look him in the eyes, and singing an evil song.
Usidore tells them that it’s Fi’ang Yalok. Arnie is confused, but Usidore explains that there are other people named Fi’ang Yalok. Just then, the Memory Gremlin comes by the table to start the Annual Meeting of Fi’ang Yaloks. Arnie recaps what the Memory Gremlin is doing with people’s memories and those who have passed. Usidore asks the Memory Gremlin if she can pretend to be Mayor Manana, but she declines because of the three people who have exhaustive memories of him, one of them hates him and wants to murder him! Chunt says it’s clearly Arnie.
Memory Gremlin says that they can’t get the gathering started until the Wish That the Horse Made arrives. Arnie really wants to know what the wish is, and Chunt suggests that maybe it was for Mayor Manana’s death. Memory Gremlin says that if that were the case, they’d have seen it. Arnie wants to know what happens during a meeting of the Fi’yang Yaloks. Memory Gremlin says that it’s full of blood-letting, ritual sacrifice (consensual), and Milk Milk Lemonade.
Chunt continues trying to pin Mayor Manana’s death threats on Arnie, and then asks Usidore what the last thing he said to Manana was. “I’M GOING TO MURDER YOU,” is his answer. Now…one would think that this would solve the mystery in any other situation. But Chunt goes after Arnie again asking him to rate how much he likes bananas on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most). Arnie has some trouble with the math, settles on 5, and Chunt declares him the would-be killer.
Fangy Yelly says that she doesn’t have murder in her heart, but the place itself feels fucked up because of other incidents that may or may not have happened in or around the basement area probably maybe.
Under the table, the boys get their story straight about what happened to Blemish. It’s more like a whoopsie-doodle than a murder, of which the punishment is one year of not being the mayor. After the boys come back up to the table, Fangy Yelly says the wish has arrived!
Usidore proclaims that he has committed an oopsie-doodle, which is punishable by death. Back under the table, Arnie suggests they don’t listen to Chunt anymore. Chunt throws the book at him…literally. They need to cover up Blemish’s murder. Usidore has an idea and proclaims to the entire Vermilion Minotaur that he is a pathological liar….which is also punishable by death. Usidore has another idea: they should ask the Memory Gremlin to take Blemish’s place.
Arnie proposes to Fangy Yelly that for three to ten gold coins, she can become Blemish, thus solving their issue. Fangy Yelly agrees, and asks them to conjure up some memories about Blemish. She turns into Blemish, but his accent isn’t quite right. Fangy Yelly turns back because they aren’t all on the same page as to who Blemish is. She gets it right the second time.
“Blemish” asks Usidore if he could live in Usidore’s hat, since Kid Usidore moved out. Usidore agrees. Arnie wants to make sure they aren’t sugar coating their memories of Blemish, when suddenly “Blemish” proclaims that the Dark Lord will suck Arnie’s dick straight into The Void.
Fangy Yelly turns back and we find out that Wheel Bear, whose job it is to find out what happened to Blemish, is deputizing wishes. Arnie says they need to get rid of the wishes. Usidore tries to bring it back around to strike a deal with Fangy Yelly to take Blemish’s place…or… “tend bar with Blemish”. Usidore throws her 1-10 and 5 more gold pieces. She turns back into Blemish and the boys order some things from the bar for “Blemish” to go get, while they answer some e-mails.

Answer: Chunt reads a little bit of it but quickly stops. There really should be some place that the fans could read them….you know… if they wanted to.

Answer: They haven’t forgotten, but Arnie says he has… like… a year. They correct him and say that it’s a few weeks, actually. Oops. Having this information, Arnie S’s his P’s.
