"Activia" is the fifty-ninth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on May 13, 2018.

Description

After over three years missing, Activia Barleyfoot, daughter of Otok, returns to the tavern.

Summary

This week in Usidore’s secret names, he claims that one of them will pop off your eyes and ears, close your mouth and nostrils, making your head round and smooth. Drew, a friend of Kid Usidore, shows up and uses another one of Usidore’s secret names, Pappy Nonsense. He also says that he’s an “Arnieian,” someone who worships Arnie.

Activia Barleyfoot barges into the Vermilion Minotaur and surprises everyone. She demands to know what's going on with the tavern. Arnie is surprised that she’s 8 feet tall. Everyone thought that she was kidnapped, but she explains that she joined the Falsetto Marauders after falling in love with Chris Sandwich. The relationship didn’t work out. While with the Marauders, she killed sheep, smacked babies, and went on a killing spree. She’s back to reclaim her father’s tavern, and she’s upset that it is a mess.

The three break the news to Activia that her father Otok left on a quest to search for her and hasn’t been seen since. She accuses them of effectively killing him by letting him go on the quest. Arnie defends that they plan to eventually search for Otok after accomplishing other tasks (ex. defeating the Dark Lord).

Activia continues her backstory. After her relationship with Chris Sandwich ended, she became the Falsetto Marauders’ accountant, then became their king, then she “killed” all the other Marauders by shushing them so they were as good as dead.

She continues to be angry at the state of the tavern. Arnie admits that they have not been taking care of it. He doesn’t want anyone to die, but Activia starts threatening people and demand that they say one nice thing about her that’s not about her physical appearance, starting with Horace. He comments her appearance, so she stabs him, but Usidore hits him with the healing rock.

Activia wants to bring some of her Marauders to redecorate. Arnie mentions the time that Krom went on a rampage and killed several people at the tavern. Activia is upset that Krom was allowed to kill but a woman like her isn’t. Arnie names 52 Sacks of Flour and evil Tannakin as women who also murdered at the tavern. Activia feels like she’s being held back.

She continues her backstory, saying that she loved her time with the Falsetto Marauders. She admits that Chris wanted to get out of the Marauders and go straight. She decided to return to the tavern because it was her happiest place after the Marauders. They discuss the ownership of the tavern, but Activia kicks everyone out and tell Arnie, Chunt and Usidore to never return. They decide to read emails outside.

Emails

The first email: Arnie said that dinosaurs are boring dragons, but the emailer says that both dragons and dinosaurs are equally interesting.

Email from Travis: Can we get the show’s theme and songs in ringtones? Arnie isn’t sure and explains ringtones to Chunt and Usidore. He's concerned that the podcast is going downhill since being kicked out of the tavern.

Chunt returns to the tavern to try to retrieve Chest Trünkborn but Activia refuses.

Drew appears again to annoy the group, but he feels let down by Arnie. Arnie ends the recording by saying that Drew should never become a recurring character.

Space bunker

Back in the space bunker, Tricia reads the credits and compliments everyone with kind words. Craig continues to act strangely and seems to have some kind of a plan.

The show ends with a snippet of Activia’s “Eight Feet Tall and Rising” podcast about double decker sandwiches.
