"Outside" is the sixtieth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on May 20, 2018.
Description
After being kicked out of the tavern, Arnie runs into the fancy little faun Mister Chauncey.
Summary
This week in Usidore’s secret names, if you see one of them written on a page, the page will come to life and strangle you.
Arnie, Chunt and Usidore are recording outside of the Vermilion Minotaur since they were kicked out last week by Activia. Arnie finds it uncomfortable standing outside, so Usidore shares his floating spell. Arnie has been sleeping in the bushes since he was living in the tavern.
The fancy faun Mister Chauncey runs into the group as he tries to enter the tavern. His brain still short circuits whenever he hears any four letter word that starts with F and ends with N. He meets Arnie for the first time since he was previous a guest on Gettin’ Nuts, and agrees to be the guest for Hello from the Magic Tavern.
They discuss ghosts, which can float but cannot consume sandwiches, and how ghosts can mock them without being aware of it.
Usidore summons some flagons as they enjoy floating outside. Arnie asks about Mister Chauncey’s old job, but the group deflects since they swore not to tell him about the portals to Earth that the faun used to guard. They discuss his new job cleaning privies, which he’s unhappy about but he hasn’t been able to find better work. Arnie makes up the word “farn” which triggers angry responses from Mister Chauncey, which they think is why he hasn’t been able to get a better job.
The three decide that Mister Chauncey is an excellent candidate to be one of the mayors of Hogsface. Mister Chauncey is delighted by the idea. He retrieves the mayor’s sash from the tavern and Usidore swears him in as one of the mayors.
Emails
Alonso suggests that Usidore become the Dark Lord to force the current one into retirement. Usidore rejects the idea because he would be corrupted, and it would be a hassle.
Space bunker
In the space bunker, the Mysterious Man calls a staff meeting because Tricia and Craig have been acting suspicious. Craig then activates the airlock and blows the Mysterious Man into space.
