"The Ruffled Feather" is the sixty-second episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on June 3, 2018.

Description

We’re in a new tavern and talking to the Freshgrave Twins, two of the most devious wizards-in-training from the Jizzlenob Preparatory Academy for Young Wizards.

Summary

The show starts with an intro from Craig, who is allowing the transmissions to continue, for now.

Chunt and Arnie once again have an argument about how to intro the podcast, since they still are not in the tavern. Arnie settles on saying “Hello from the Other Side” as the title this week, even though they are indeed in a tavern this week, the Ruffled Feather. Usidore is unhappy with the evilness of the other patrons (including a giant praying mantis), and tries to start a bar fight, at one point banishing a demon in the bar to another plane. He eventually accepts the other patrons have a right to their bar and makes his robes a dingier blue to fit in.

Chunt talks about how he and Twosidore are having some trouble in their relationship, since Twosidore is having a tough time after the visit from Jyn’Leeviyah. Arnie puts “get to know Twosidore” on his to do list.

The guests are two children learning to be wizards, the Freshgrave twins Snaken and Schnenessa, prefects of house Dingledong at Jizzlenob Preparatory Academy for Young Wizards.

The children ask for the guys to buy them booze which they hope to smuggle back into Jizzlenob and party. Snaken gets an Unnatural Ice, which he drinks through the pores of his eyes. Schnenessa asks for a shot glass with eight flavors in it, Juice of the Jungle. She also drinks it all in one go by vacuuming it up her butthole. Chunt then takes two shot glasses up his buttholes, one glass for each hole. Usidore drinks a whole horse, something that was on his bucket list.

Snaken shares that the giant mantis mentioned earlier is named Macho Mantis Randy Mantis. While the gang is talking, Macho Mantis Randy Mantis bites off his lover's head but Slim Jim, the lover, grows back his head.

While in the bar Schnenessa has learned a powerful love spell from a tiny crone. She reveals she has a crush on another student named Patmat Winkleshtain, who is in a different house than the twins. They spot Patmat at the bar and begin to breath heavily. The twins tell the story about a child who was dying and wanted to see a cloud, so Patmat carved it into his own head. Usidore calls Patmat over, who comes to the table with his three dancing skeleton friends. Patmat confesses that he has a crush on Schnenessa, and the twins start whining in triumph. Schnenessa admits to using her love potion on him.

Snaken gets a note to meet Macho Mantis Randy Mantis in the back, and leaves to confront him. Schnenessa goes to practice handholding positions with Patmat. Snaken and Macho Mantis Randy Mantis emerge from the tunnel talking about how good the swordplay was. Patmat and Schnenessa talk about the best way to hold hands. Patmat asks Schnenessa to marry him. She asks for space. She remarks about how she should have just been herself. Snaken asks Patmat if he wants to go boink the dean.

Space bunker

Tricia says she knows that she would be a Camelto. Tricia asks Craig if he misses his life in Chicago, and Craig says there is no such place. Tricia is looking for laser saws again. Tricia cuts into Craig’s brain again, and the episode fades out with the sounds of Craig struggling in the background.

Emails

Chunt gets one that talks about how Arnie might be evil. Arnie states that they’re fighting evil by just slowing them down and wasting their time, which he thinks is the butterfly effect.

Arnie got an email asking if wizards can reproduce, and if those children would be wizards. Usidore says that they can, but it is forbidden because they don’t know what the child would be.
