"Activia's Quest" is the seventy-sixth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on September 9, 2018.
Description
We sneak back into the Vermilion Minotaur to try to talk Activia Barleyfoot into setting off on a quest to find her father.
Summary
The lads have returned to the Vermilion Minotaur with a plan to take it back: they will tell Activia Barleyfoot they know where her father is so she will set off on a quest to rescue him.
Under Activia’s management, the VM is hoppin’! Singing waitstaff, expanded menu items, and kitschy decor (in the form of Arnie’s now-dismantled Toyota Camry) have replaced the more spartan style of Arnie and Blemish. She has changed the name to Thank Vermilion Minotaur It’s Foon and is on the verge of a franchise deal.
They tell her about Otok running Spittoons, and she asks if it’s one of those “breastaurants” like Owlboobs or Off Center Skirt. She is devastated to learn it’s an upscale gastropub owned by the Corruption Guild and resolves to rescue her father.
Activia asks the lads to run the place in her absence, but tells them if they make any changes or screw anything up, she will return and stab them in the throat. She is distracted and hesitant to leave. Arnie, Chunt and Usidore equip her with useful items and less useful advice, finally giving her a resonance stone so she can contact them if she needs help. She doesn’t know how to use it so she enlists waitress Anastasia to join her and help with technology and social media outreach. At last they set off, and the lads relax, happy to be home again.
Twosidore suddenly appears and asks Chunt to marry him. Chunt’s response?
Aw yeah, baybee!
