Description
A mothman flies into the tavern with a challenge for Usidore. Chunt sells some old stuff. Arnie has a striking memory from Earth.
Summary
Chunt has set up a yard sale to get rid of various bits clothing he acquired as different animals.
The interview guest is Hans Hoffman the Science Mothman. Hans is strong proponent of Science, which he believes provides a more convincing explanation for the natural world than magic. Usidore disagrees, and two give competing explanations for natural phenomena.
Han also speaks of Mothmen in general, including their life-cycle, and antagonism to bridges.
While they don't come to a consensus, they agree that the other has useful ideas. Usidore asks Hans if he'll help defeat the Dark Lord. Hans believes the best way to defeat the Dark Lord is to deny him attention, leading the trio to resolve to call him the DL instead. Hans also agrees to continue his research and share anything useful he discovers. Usidore funds his research with 1000 chickens, as Mothmen do not use gold and only barter.
