"Chunt’s Wedding" is the ninety-eighth episode of season two of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on March 10, 2019.
Description
You are humbly invited to the wedding of Chunt the badger and Twosidore the whatever-he-his.
Summary
The episode opens as an episode of the Myths and Legends podcast. A resonance stone was found behind a Burger King in Chicago. Twitter user @SpintaxTheGreen brought it to the attention of Myths and Legends host Jason Weiser.
It is the day of Chunt’s wedding to Twosidore, and Chunt is preparing for the ceremony with Arnie and Usidore in the Vermilion Minotaur (earlier plans to have the party in Usidore’s hat were canceled when it was double booked). Wedding guests pop in with questions and well wishes. Arnie is surprised that in addition to loved ones like Hungho the Hunger Ghost, Chunt's father, and Eleanor the Manticore, his mother, Chunt has given out invitations to Evil Tannakin the Pinglet and Baron Ragoon. Chunt explains he had extra invitations and just wanted it to a be a real party.
Arnie has also provided a number of cheap resonance stones which guests can record well wishes on (in addition to the conversations we are hearing).
Usidore and Germ Crust plan a dance at the reception. Arnie realizes he has lost the ring, and so can’t give it to Drew, the ring-bearer. The Baron conspires with Tannakin on how to turn the wedding into the bloodbath.
Eleanor walks Chunt down the aisle, and Hungho does the same for Twosidore.
Usidore conducts a truly beautiful service.
At the reception, guests mingle, sometimes awkwardly. Arnie accidentally insults Germ. Table-mates attempt small talk.
Wedding well wishes are recorded by:
- The Blue Tigers Cerulean and Azure
- Caball’on Valentin
- Flower
- Schnenessa and Snaken Freshgrave, sent magically
- The Singing Sword
- Don the Transdimensional Deliveryman
Arnie gives a rambling best man speech, during he which reveals he has solved the Orange Beast Riddle and found The Penelope, the weapon they have been seeking for a year and a half.
The dance of consummation begins, but despite his discomfort and attempted excuses Arnie cannot leave. But something strange begins to happen during the consummation, and Twosidore rapidly expands. With the last words “Remember Me,” he explodes.
Covered in honey and in shock, Chunt mourns the death of his husband. No explanation can be found except for a unique interaction between Chunt and Twosidore’s magical natures. But in the dance floor a giant egg now stands. The vial around Chunt’s neck containing his single sperm is empty. He is a daddy, and that is his Eggy-Baby.
The Baron and Tannakin decide it's time to strike, but they can barely start their pre-attack speech before they are quickly shamed by Arnie and Usidore for their tastelessness and poor timing. They agree to return and attack in a week's time.
Still in shock, Chunt is comforted by Arnie with the promise that his friends will help him protect Eggy-Baby. Usidore and Germ flirt a bit more, but cannot have their dance due to the exploded groom.
The recording ends, and on the Myths and Legends podcast the host expresses doubts as to the veracity of the record.

Notes
- Arnie's wedding gift to Chunt, freeing him from having to worry about continuity, is a fourth wall bending gift to Adal Rifai. Chunt's out-of-continuity mention of being 10,000 years old is a reference to a very early episode where Adal tried to establish that on-air as Chunt's age, but Arnie vetoed it right away and it was never used on the podcast.1
- The Tree that Aprel Fuls's seed on Usidore's Robe finally grew. The prank first appeared in Season 2, Ep 21 – Gnome
