“Seaside” is the first episode of season three of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on July 22, 2019.
Description
A new adventure begins as Arnie, Usidore and Chunt meet a wooden figure come to life in a seaside tavern.
Summary
Usidore, Arnie, and Chunt (with Eggy-Baby in tow) arrive at the tavern The Jagged Dagger, in the seaside town of Brinemist in disguise, brandishing a coin that identifies them as members of the secret order The Silent Eye, an organization dedicated to the defeat of the Dark Lord, searching for assistance.
They quickly meet Rodney, a magically animated ships figurehead who assured them of their safety and agrees to be their first guest. He tells the tale of his origin, magical creation, and life at sea.
They soon realize Rodney has only been alive a short time and try to teach him of reading, time-telling, drink, and ethics. They ask Rodney if he can help them book passage on his former ship, the SS Stephanie. He’s initially conflicted as he considers Stephanie his ex, but agrees to try. Usidore gives him a magical cloud, and later fast wooden legs, that increase his mobility, and he has a heartfelt reunion with Stephanie. Having Rodney vouch for them, the trio board.
Space bunker
In the intro/outro the Mysterious Man appears to be broadcasting from Earth, while making a token effort to fake being on the Space Bunker. He is accompanied by a new assistant, Lincoln.
