Description
Momo, Krom and Carfoon Blemish set sail on the quest to rescue Arnie.
Summary
Carfoon Arnie (Carnival Wilson/Cafarnie) continues to be with Usidore and Chunt as they travel on the S.S. Stephanie once again. Chunt is excited to duke it out at the Volcano, were they are heading. He has been practicing his shapeshifting, from Sharks, to Pufferfishes, to a little volcano which causes hot blood) and two men named Carl and Greg. Usidore is excited to finally finish his quest to defeat the Dark Lord and rescue Arnie. After Usidore shows off the obsidian sword, Chunt pulls Usidore aside and tells him that Eggy Baby has been spotted with the Bounty Hunter of Few Words somewhere out in the desert. He asks Usidore if they have time to get them, but Usidore says to either wait for Season 4 or put the adventure behind the paywall.
Carfoon Blemish comes out of the below decks and doubts the crew's success against the Dark Lord. However, Usidore still believes that he will be useful. Usidore describes how a wizard truly dies to Cafarnie, who was not created to know this information. Yes, everyone knows this, including Momo, who joined the crew on the ship, thinking that they were all going on vacation. When Chunt tells her they are heading off to battle, Momo finds herself woefully unprepared. Cafarnie asks Usidore his plan for the battle. He tells the group that He will use the sword and Arnor's two obsidian balls to prevent the Dark Lord from escaping the true death with the artifacts, which the Dark Lord could use to jump from consciousness to consciousness to essentially become immoral.1
Chunt spots a weird shark in the water, which happens to be Krom the Barbarian swimming in circles in the ocean. After he is invited to join on board, Momo finds it a little awkward since you're not supposed to mix friend groups. After they go over their respective best friends and schedule to make Krom's dream come true, Krom asks the group how important it was for him to keep track of the second artifact. After the events of "Temple of Krom", he placed it in the the pit of the largest (i.e. widest) snake pile in Foon, the pile that he created for the economic boom in Fingaria. After that, it was stolen from his possessions and he tried to replace it with a rock with several notes on it. Knowing now that there is no guarantee that all of the artifacts are out of the Dark Lord's hands, Usidore demands that Blemish reveals everything he knows about the Dark Lord, including weaknesses. However, Blemish mocks the group's efforts to succeed while Cafarnie tells the group that it might be in Carfoon Blemish's nature to respond like that since his creator was Arnie.
In the midst of it all, the group recounts what they have been up to, from letting Krom know that the ship is manned by bears, letting Momo know to be tactful about eggs, and reminding Carfoon Arnie that he is not real Arnie and wondering what that is like. To get the two to bond, Chunt grabs Momo's poetry book and tells her that Krom is also a writer with his poetic writing in his dream journal. As Chunt share's Momo's work, Krom cannot reciprocate since he has also lost his journal. With Krom constantly losing his stuff, the group wears him down to make him reveal that he probably just dropped it all in the ocean. Krom also hooked up with a sea lion.
Enjoying her time with Krom as an unexpected friend, Momo tries to be inclusive with Blemish, who was mostly avoiding the group during the second act of the episode . She asked if Blemish had anything to share, which he freestyles a poem how they are all going to die. Carfarnie feels the sentiment as the voyage itself was poorly planned, insulting the capabilities of most of the group for the side of good. To revitalize the group, Chunt suggests that they all go around and state what they bring to the mission. Chunt has his shapeshifting skills, Carfoon Blemish has his revolting nature, Carfaine has his trickster skills, Usidore has all his wizardly knowledge, power, and a good amount of obsidian, Krom is not only a strong and skilled warrior, but is also empathetic, and finally Momo has her human strength and has a woodpecker best friend named Joanne. She tries to call her, but she hears no response.
As they are sailing straight to the Dark Lord, their potential death, and the end of Season 3, Cafarnie asks if they are afraid at all. The group contemplates their fate and share their insecurities. At least during the episode, Blemish has opened up to siding with the group and the group express their love for him, despite the backhand comments from Cafarnie. They give him a rock that says "Blemish's Rock" and cheers to the vacation and how they are all going to live forever.
Back on Earth, the Mysterious Man continues to broadcast as he now becomes the new CEO of Eataly, which he rebrands as Belgiumaly. As CEO, he is now able to lower the security systems keeping him there and he is able to walk about of the building. He gets to check back at the institute via the security measures he placed there where he finds all the alarms going off. He admits that he needs reinforcement and sends a transmission to signal Craig.
