"Hog" is the twenty-third episode of season three of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on January 5, 2020.
Description
A small town pig-sheriff-man shakes down the boys.
Summary
Tiki-Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore are in the tavern The Deviated Scepter, in the fiefdom of Vestoon, en route to the Library of Meridanth. The tavern sits near a river and bridge, and they need a bridge pass to continue their journey. Chunt confirms that Eggy-Baby remains at Jizzlenob.
They are approached by Bloviation Jones, a Were-Hog and the Sheriff of Vestoon county, clearly looking to be paid off for a series of minor infractions and fees. They talk to Bloviation for some time about his life, before he makes clear they can earn his favor by murdering his brother-in-law; a rat named Templeton who runs the town tattoo parlor, and has large breasts.
Chunt and Usidore both sneak off to kill Templeton during the break, but soon discover they have killed the wrong "titrats" in a case of mistaken identity (apparently all rats in the town are equally busty). Bloviation is also concerned with the preponderance of rats in town in general, so decides they've done enough to earn a bridge pass, but not before trying to extract another bribe and extort Chunt to remain as an enforcer.
When the bar is out of clean glasses for its 22oz Harvey Wallbanger, Bloviation chooses one last favor to extract: the trio (or quartet, if you count Tiki-Arnie and his body separately) can continue on their way if he'll allow an orc to drink from him. Arnie agrees, but then really drags things out. Eventually the drink is drunk, and the trio begins to depart. But when Arnie mentions he was recording the whole conversation, Bloviation panics: he spoken casually of crimes ranging from graft to murder. The trio make a hasty departure out of town with the law at their backs.
