"Flower Parts" is the twenty-seventh episode of season three of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on February 2, 2020.
Description
Flower is back to…do…whatever it is that Flower does. Meanwhile, the Dark Lord’s plot comes to light…
Summary
Still in the Library of Meridanth, Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore are ready to try to restore Arnie to his normal body. Flower has also arrived. Owing to a “tickle in her ear” (a phrase that leads to a discussion on flower anatomy), Flower has somehow sensed an opportunity to put Arnie in the ground.
Sure enough, the spell to restore Arnie will involve transferring his essence back into his body, having him eat the gummy body he was inhabiting, and burying him. There is one catch: Usidore was unable to solve the problem of Obsidian Doom. The blade will have to remain in Arnie’s chest, and if removed he will die.
The transfer is a success, and afterwards Usidore reveals what he has discovered translating the pages of the Book of Sight they have obtained: the Dark Lord has discovered a way to avoid the ”true death,” that is to say: a death that would normally kill even a wizard. Instead of dying, the Dark Lord would simply move to a new body.
He’ll need to collect several artifacts to do so, hidden in “the dark dank caves, the terrible fortresses, and the mystical temples.” The trio resolve to get the artifacts first.

- Dr. Jansen expresses his gratitude for the podcast which helped him finish his PhD, and offers his services as geneticist. He also asks if Foon has DNA. Arnie can’t explain the question and the others don’t know.
- Adam writes that he tells his children G-rated versions of their adventures such as their entry to the Army of Velsmeer. Chunt and Arnie try to imagine cleaning up their adventures.
- Jake R. wants a magic spell to regrow his hair. Usidore tries to cast one over the podcast.
