Description
The boys continue their search for the artifacts being sought by The Dark Lord. In a mystical temple, they run into an old friend…a dangerous friend.
Summary
Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore arrived at the Mystic Temple in Fingaria. As they discuss their fears, they spot a shrouded figure approaching them. It appears to be Krom the Fingarian, who is in a more miserable state and has gained weight.
Krom explains his fate. After creating the largest (as in widest) snake pile of all of Foon, it has been a tourist spot, generating a lot of economy and helped in trading tourist. During this prosperity, he decided to marry a bear, named Grylls, whom he met while the bear was shitting in the woods. Krom's people were supported up to the point where he cheated on his bear spouse with another bear, Boo-Boo, whom he had met the same way. The people of Fingaria felt that Krom had desecrated his throne and position and threw him into exile.
Krom's new quest is to redeem himself and hopes to return to his kingdom with something that would impress his people. The group comes up with suggestions for him, such as a new image or a new tourist attraction. Krom asked why they were in the Temple and they explained their current quest, to retrieve the artifacts before the Dark Lord. Since there were on this journey already, Krom follows the trio to help.
Unlocking a door leads them to a place vastly aesthetically different than Foon. After looking around, Arnie describes it as a Space Pod that he feels that he's familiar with. To test this theory, he opens a drawer, correctly guessing there would be paper clips in them. The group finds a door with the same marking as the map they have to track down the artifacts. When they enter, they spot a geode with a tag on it that says "artifact". Arnie tells Krom to take it with him since their group will most likely fuck up its protection. They start to loot the place until they heard a mysterious voice, forcing them to leave.
Once in safety, Krom thanks them for the artifact may just be enough to restore his status. Chunt plays with his new laser gun.
At the end of the podcast, the Mysterious Man recognizes that they must have entered Space Bunker Zeta while it was refueling in Foon.
