Description
Two bibbits (they're sort of like halflings?) discuss the terrible burden they carry: a cursed trinket!
Summary
Tricia plans with "Derek" to put their plan in action; the introduction of props to the show! Tricia leaves Derek to get ready to get Tricia's props from her car, and Derek goes back to his Mysterious Man persona to give the broadcast.
Usidore opens up the show on Rune and initially struggles. Chunt, as a little beach boy, helps him through it and they do an episode of Getting' Nuts. Arnie gets on late and confronts the two about getting the intro right, which they have explained very efficiently, including that they are still in "The Shattering."
Although they are still separated, Usidore is still motivated on his quest to defeat the Dark Lord, and it shouldn't take a break while the Shattering is happening. So he has been recruiting in the background. Usidore invited Bustly Mormler and Polo Tatums for a "job interview" and each person plays a role. Usidore is Good Constable, Chunt is Bad Constable, and Arnie plays Dead Constable, eventually switching roles where Usidore becomes Automaton Constable. Polo is a rich bibbit, served by Bustly, both who are stuck at Polo's Bibbit Burrow during the Shattering. They were meant to set out for their quest to get rid of a cursed object, The Trinket of the Nightmancer. This trinket has caused the wearer to be irritable to people. The group realize that they too are falling under the affects of the cursed trinket. Polo and Bustly are recruiting too, forming an alliance to confront the seller, Arthur Wiseman, to either remove the curse by destroying it or give Polo a full refund.
The trio ask for more information about the Nightmancer. Usidore asserts that the Nightmancer and Arthur Wiseman are one and the same. He tells Polo to be kinder to Bustly so he would be able to take off the trinket, The task was successful and they were able to throw the trinket into the fire. Turn out that Polo was just an asshole.
Now that their quest is over, Polo and Bustly are tired and will remain in the Bibbit Burrow. Polo will write a novel and Bustly will try to learn Elvish. Usidore still resolves to kill Arthur Wiseman or demand the bibbits' full refund.
