Description

Two down on their luck minotaurs lure us into their labyrinth. What will we find in the center?

Summary

As Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore explore Castle Skullmaster, they encounter several carnival themed rooms. They are approached by Balgor the Unclean and Galbor the Tidy, the guardians of the maze in the basement and encourages them to try it out. They claim that the maze is very dangerous, so Usidore turns Arnie and Chunt to wizards with the Triwizard Cup.

The crew learn their history; the minotaur and bicennotaur were humans, cursed during their time as minnow-taur guides when a wizard, learned later as Usidore, was disappointed by the attraction. Baglor and Galbor took the job mantel from their parents as their moms were friends. As the lead the group through the maze they have created, Arnie, Usidore, and Chunt finds that the maze is not very difficult, as many parts are incomplete, shoddily made, and Baglor and Galbor give obvious hints to riddles.

When they reach the end, the mintours are disappointed in their execution and the gang try to make them feel better and gives them constructive criticism. However, they still charge the group for going through the maze. To lower their rate, Usidore offers to un-curse them, which Galbor accepts, but not Baglor. At the end of the maze, the group open a treasure casket, which includes an covered item that has the note "art is fact", essentially the final artifact. When they unveil it, it's a painting of Arnie from middle school. The whole ordeal ends with the minotaur requesting that they review the maze on different services.
