Description
We meet a spider that's stressed out about being stuck at home with her hundreds of children.
Summary
To find out more about the artifact they found at Castle Skullmaster, Arnie reads through Skullmaster's diary that he found. When his minions found it, they did not know who the person in the painting was. Meanwhile, Chuntand Usidore have been dabbling in interior decorating. However, Arnie's lack of appreciating leads them to fight. To resolve it, they decide to start over the podcast in another room.
In a web room, the group meet Carol the Spider Mom. She asks them if they were children because she has 300 of them and didn't want to deal with it. Due to the Shattering/Fragmenting, Carol's children have been home schooled, forcing Carol to set up a "web" connection with each child's individual teacher. Though she previously had 1500 sets of children before, she is a single mother, works nights, and still has difficulties setting up her children for the new method of learning and protecting them from the predators of the world, like cats and birds.
To give Carol a break, Chunt convinces her to go on a date with Usidore and forces Chunt to babysit the children. Arnie gets roped into the play a waiter, who's not very good at his job and has a ska band. Chunt comes in as a manager to reprimand him. The group gets too into their rule and forget about the children. After Usidore wrestles with residual feelings for Jyn'Leeviyah and brings back the alternate timeline of his love for Germ Crust, he comes out to Carol about the ruse of the date. Carol retorts that she didn't need the date since she was already set to mingle with other spiders to have sex, but now she is no longer in the mood.
After the credits, the group is reminded that DQ is still in the basement, but he's still alive, so they need to keep an eye on him.
