"Army" is the eighth episode of season three of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on September 9, 2019.
Description
An encounter with a general and a musical centaur could move things in a new military direction.
Summary
Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore arrive to the camp of the Velsmirian Army, and present themselves to the General in charge, General Johnny, who is attended by Jenny the Centaur, a bard. Johnny reveals that discipline has collapsed and the troops have reorganized themselves into a loose artist collective, with all 40,000 troops developing their own shows and performances. Johnny is eager to pass control of the army off hoping the trio will succeed as leaders where he has failed.
Ultimately the group decides the best way to inspire confidence in the power hand-off is to humiliate Johnny and run him out of camp.
Jenny sings a songs about enjoying Rainbow Bowls in the face of impending death.
Post Credit Scene
General Johnny continues to run around to display his humiliation to the rest of the army.
