"Tom the Secret Traveler" is the eighty-third episode of season three of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on March 22, 2021.

Description

Traveling to the North East leads to a secret carriage with a secret traveler who just might be Prince Tomblain Bellaroth.

Summary

Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore are walking along the road, closing in on the Kingdom of the Northeast. Arnie reviews his catchphrases and interruptions in Usidore’s names. Chunt taught Séance to say Arnie and Usidore’s names, but instead of giving them treats, he gives them thumbs ups. His example draws the attention of Krefnen, the cart driver. He will give them a ride to the city if he could get a “blow job '' to get the mud off of his tires. Usidore offers to just “suck off” the mud, which Krefnen accepted. However, Krefnen warns the group that he has a traveler in his cart already that must remain secret. He then proceeds to shout to everyone that it is Tomblain Belaroth.

When the group reconvenes with Tom in the back of the cart, he tells the gang that he is going back to his home in the capital city of Northeastia1 to take the throne. In turn, the group tells Tom about the artifact inside Arnie’s head. Still, the aim is for Tom to head to the cave where he must perform the Bat Dance. Usidore gives his protection, and everything else he and the gang has, to Tom to make sure he ascends to power and he is safe.

Tom’s journey back has not been an easy one. Although he has adopted many roles as a thespian, there have been many instances where his life was in danger. This includes:

  • An envelope filled with ant thorax
  • A box with a Red Peehole Dragon
  • An object that will eventually make your eye dissolve when you look through it
  • An editable object that can pull something through another dimension
  • A dagger that will decay whatever is stabbed with it
  • A Brain-sucking squid
  • Heartworms

With each item listed, Tom makes Arnie try it in order for Arnie to understand his strife. Usidore and Chunt try to get Arnie to calm down to not stress out of his impending doom. Eventually, Usidore hits Arnie with a rock, then cum rock, then gives a cure all for status effects, then finally hits him with the actual healing rock.

The cart stops and the four decide to take a break. Tom acts as Krefnen to show off his acting prowess. However, the real Krefnen comes out, but still tries to fish for compliments for Tom. A triangle comes forward and reveals that they are the real Krefnen, creating a Series of Krefnen. Even when Tom drops the charade, the group never sees Tom and Krefnen together. Despite being the end of the episode, Tom invites the gang to travel together, teasing that Tom will be traveling together for a while.

Emails

Lois asks if they thought about starting a traveling band. They have the chemistry, the rock and roll looks, and they hear that badger paws are good on the flute. They can also make money on the side. Chunt says he could play the fiddle, Arnie could play Chunt's Jugs, and Usidore could play the spoons. Tom is unsure what he could play in the band, but he previously played the hipsachord/harpsichord. He is also good with his voice since he was trained to be a Cocktickler. Convinced, Chunt tells Lois that they will start a plumgrass band.
