Description

Jyn'Leeviyah the Red Wizard visits on official business regarding the Wizards Choice Awards.

Summary

Arnie is still unsure that the Unnameable Mountain likes the name Slobodon. He is ready to consult Chunt about it, but he is nowhere to be seen. Chunt comes up to Arnie, asking Arnie to quiet down since he is doing another podcast with his best friend, Arnie’s Pinky, now named PK1. He is a little disillusioned by the concept, but allows Chunt to go do the other podcast, Pinky Pod, while he focuses on Usidore, who suggests PK1 should meet Suzi Creamcheese. Chunt comes back to quiet down Usidore as his announcement of his names is disrupted to the Pinky Pod, causing them to cancel the recording.

A letter came in to the tavern from a wolf with bat wings. Arnie relays the message to Usidore as it pertains to some wizard business without recalling who it was from. Suddenly Jyn’Leeviyah the Red appears before them. Chunt gushes as Jyn’Leeviyah would be a huge get for Pinky Pod. Equally starstruck, she takes out her own severed finger, Lady Comfort Food, to go meet PK1. The two appendages hit it off as they share the fact that they are both fingers and Chunt grabs Arnie’s recording equipment to capture the moment. The fingers then almost immediately starts finger banging in the jar. Since no one in Foon can actually do a podcast, Arnie toys with the idea of stepping into a producer role. Meanwhile, Usidore scrambles to set up his death bed he had strapped to his head some time ago and reminds the group that he is dying.

Jyn’Leeviyah, Arnie, and Chunt rushes over to complete her task, with Jyn’Leeviyah barely remembering Usidore as a being as they have broken up and had her memories extracted and put into sweet bread. Her main reason to be there is to investigate Usidore and the destruction of the Dark Lord as Usidore has not died yet. Although she is there representing the Wizards’ Council, she is retired. After getting her heart stomped (her words), she retired early, moved to Migas, where she killed a woman and stole her hut for the views, and invested in mushrooms to start a new life. She had plenty to eat, practices religion, and has constant sex when she rents the hut at AirB&B. Hearing that her life is pretty much Eat, Pray, Fuck, she hopes to use that as the title of her new podcast, which Chunt nods to Arnie to produce.

While Jyn’Leeviyah and Chunt checks in with Pinky Pod, Arnie checks in with Usidore, after seeing his wizard love for the first time since the Wizard Council Meeting. Although he feels so much for her and believes that she will be heartbroken when he dies, he knows that his death is important in order to fool everyone. So Usidore decides to do his fake death now. Chunt and Jyn’Leeviyah come back and Chunt turns himself into a Pinky. Usidore lets Jyn’Leeviyah know that she came at a fortuitous time as he will die today. Jyn’Leeviyah begins to cry, expressing remorse over Usidore’s impending doom and wishing that they could get back together and live happily in Migas. But Usidore is not tempted to stay with her and swears that he had struck the Dark Lord with the obsidian sword. Jyn’Leeviyah demands that he swear on his manhood as well, which he complies. She believes him, but is still saddened that she will have nothing to remember him by. So she asks for his little chub and he agrees to give it to her. Arnie, knowing the truth, is taken aback on how easily he said it and wondered how all that worked.

Everyone gathers to the back room, where Usidore situates himself as Winky Silks and Michael Gunch instructed last episode. In the middle of his dying, Chunt as Jyn’leeviyah how to invest in mushrooms. When Usidore is at his peak death state, he throws glitter at everyone in the room and magics the light. As everyone is blinded, “a stranger” enters the room and comments on Usidore’s death and the group begins to mourn. Jyn’Leeviyah gets pissed as she thought Usidore did not leave his chub, but the stranger, introduced as Flint Pus, points out that it was under the pillow. Chunt tries to give a meaningful message about Usidore’s last wish about him and Jyn’Leeviyah combining into one giant wizard if they ever truly fell in love, but it came out chauvinistic and misogynistic. Flint offers to buy a round for the other three in honor of Usidore.

Back in the dining area of the Strange Familiar, Arnie proposes a toast to Usidore and they reminisce about him. It quickly turns to Jyn’Leeviyah’s podcast, but starts very solemnly. She knew that the two were destined to be together, despite the pitfalls they have been in the past. Chunt shards in this hardship, bring anecdotes of his exes and how he also did the memory extraction that Jyn’Leeviyah did. One memory that stayed with her is the Wizard Choice awards. Flint asks who she thinks would win and Jyn’Leeviyah is doing everything in her power to ensure Usidore’s win as it is the last thing she can do for him. Flint subtly tries to convince Jyn’Leeviyah to leave the chub, but she gets more attached to it and gets a name from Chunt.

Arnie pulls Flint aside and Usidore drops his disguise. It becomes hard to maintain and Arnie finds the new identity ineffective since it feels too similar to Usidore. Luckily, Usidore has a backup plan. He transforms himself into an adorable dog with detective clothes and a trench coat and attempts to steal back his chub, but to no avail. However, because he is so cute, he is easily forgiven, especially since Jyn’Leeviyah did not like Flint. She sees the chemistry between the dog, later named Professor Scrambles, and the chub. Although she is unwilling to part with the chub, she offers the dog to come with her back to Migas. Arnie claims that the dog still has duties to the tavern and the basement. Professor then speaks up and says that he is a guard dog. Jyn’Leeviyah hires Professor Scrambles to investigate Usidore and the Dark Lord and report back Usidore's final moments.

The group listens in to the last few minutes of Pinky Pod. After their post coital bliss, PK1 expresses his love for Lady Comfort Food. However, Lady Comfort Food does not find the relationship serious and is already ready to bounce with Jyn’Leeviyah and flies to her side. Jyn’Leeviyah explains that Lady Comfort Food spent time in a cocoon and Chunt follows the thread to The Cocoon movie. However, when the wordplay isn’t up to Chunt’s standards, he ends the episode.
