"Five Finger Wolf Man" is the sixty-seventh episode of season five of Hello from the Magic Tavern. It was originally released on August 17, 2025.

Description
Five Finger Wolfman, the gambler-turned-werewolf, has a new plan to eat a grandma.
Summary
At the Ruffled Feather, Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore are joined by the gambling werewolf Five Finger Wolf Man, who was previously on the show as Five Finger Flint Gustoon and as Five Finger Scoop Poopy. One of Five Finger Wolf Man's updates is his new side business where he offers wolf services, which include helping with communication between wolves and people, eating an annoying neighbor's sheep, and acting as a notary.
When they last met, Chunt bet 33 gold coins that he would become the next future king. He tries to convince Five Finger Wolf Man that he has won the bet because he is the future king of wishful thinking. The regional wizard who is needed to verify Chunt's claim is unavailable, so Usidore steps in as the associate regional wizard. After grasping the chaos soul stone, he confirms Chunt's status and receives a tip from Five Finger Wolf Man for his help.
Five Finger Wolf Man shares that he's in the area because he is helping facilitate communication between a wolf and the local townsfolk over a child who fell in the well, but has yet to receive payment. He is looking forward to going to another town, where he met a rich and hot grandma after their date went wrong. He has "eaten" her and plans to take on her identity. He shows the hosts his velvet muumuu costume and explains he's going to adopt the granddaughter so he can make off with her riches. His new name after he takes on the new role will be Five Finger Wolf Grandma.
At one point, the hosts lend him their copy of The Great Gatsby, which Five Finger Wolf Man reads extremely quickly.
After adopting the granddaughter, Five Finger Wolf Man plans to get her married to a rich partner. Then he will fake an illness that is expensive to treat, in order to extract more money disguised as the doctor. Arnie, Chunt, and Usidore help him practice playing his various fake identities, with Chunt reading stage directions, and Usidore acting as the constable trying to solve a mystery.
In-character as the hot grandmother, who is named Bernice, Five Finger Wolf Man flirts with Chunt. It turns out that she has been "eaten out" but perhaps not yet literally eaten (though this is ambiguous). Later, when he is in-character as a charming and mysterious doctor, Five Finger Wolf Man examines Bernice and concludes that she has some internal bleeding due to being eaten out as a wolf, but reassures her it's treatable.
As himself, Five Finger Wolf Man announces that the child got stuck in the local well due to a trap some wolves set up, and that he will be paid by the city because they bet against that happening. He expresses his desire to marry Bernice after he receives the money. In-character as Bernice, however, he expresses to himself that things are moving too fast. Five Finger Wolf Man, as himself, sadly shares that he bet money that his heart would be broken. Usidore offers to cast a spell to help him forget that he fell in love, but Five Finger Wolf Man refuses.
Chunt leaves to go to his new job, which he alluded to at the top of the episode, as Arnie reads an email.
Arnie places a bet of 33 gold that Five Finger Wolf Man will feel better eventually, while Usidore places a bet that Chunt's new job is some form of sex work. They leave, letting a sobbing Five Finger Wolf Man slowly transform into a wolf.
Post Credit Scene
The Mysterious Man's new assistant has arrived, and it's Chunt! While he doesn't seem to comprehend what he is reading, Chunt does some of the credits.
In Foon the next morning, Five Finger Wolf Man is still sobbing in the tavern, to the surprise of the hosts. Arnie asks if he needs some water to rehydrate, but he replies that he is drinking his tears and tells them to stay away.
Emails
- Kara Donnelly, Doctor of Fluid Dynamics, writes in to explain the symbolic meaning of the snub-nosed motorboat: I looked up snub-nosed boats, and they are designed to be very stable when sailing downwind. I don't think you would ever put a snub-nose on a motorboat, because motorboats can go any direction unrelated to the wind. In lakes, like where Gatsby lives, the water current will move with the wind. The book is telling us when we meet Gatsby, Gatsby's boat isn't well designed and it won't succeed in a headwind like Gatsby himself won't succeed when he encounters a social headwind.
Usidore thanks Kara for her interpretation of The Great Gatsby, but says that Five Finger Wolf Man's insights were more meaningful to him.
