Stone Of Azrael

The Stone Of Azrael is a magical amulet that senses and absorbs the essence of monsters, as it defines them.

The stone is in the possession of Simon Lemmington Bartholomew, Monster Hunter, who uses it to track and kill monsters.¹

When Usidore the Blue was infected with vampirism, Simon tricked him into holding the Stone Of Azrael knowing it would absorb him, seemingly causing his death.

However, the stone could only absorb Usidore's vampiric aspect, allowing his now purified spirit to reconstitute as Usidore the Lighter Blue.²
